My role in the Emerging Technologies Lab encompasses many components including research, requirements analysis, prototyping, and managing the implementation of projects. My role specializes in the exploration of cutting-edge technologies including IoT, Automation, VR, AR, 3D printing, NLU, and more.

  • Built relationships between IT teams and other departments through my bimodal team.
  • Brought new value through supply chain optimizations.
  • Challenged the status quo by developing concepts to drive innovation.
  • Proved the value of new technology with pilot programs.
  • Enhanced employee training and learning with technology.

USFSP Center for Ocean Technology: August 2017 – August 2018
Helped build and develop software for a NOAA autonomous drifting vessel that collects data on a Raspberry Pi and relays data to NOAA via AssetLink satellite relay. My role in the project was programming the Raspberry Pi to read the many different types of sensor and forwarding that data over satellite using the AssetLink AP3, as well as selecting and implementing custom hardware and electronics for power management and sensors.

Groupie, LLC – Intern: September 2012 – June 2015
Brainstormed ideas to expand the company, promoted the company, moderated online groups for inappropriate content, performed user interface layout and design, and assisted with Android application development.
